Meet the owner...

AJ Molter knew at a very young age exactly what he wanted to be when he grew up...a carpenter. He has been involved in the world of carpentry since he was in high school. AJ attended Steel Center Vocational School for 3 years, before graduating and becoming a contractor for a reputable company in the area. He worked for this company for 5 years, working his way up from laborer, to carpenter, to foreman, eventually managing his own crew, and running all aspects of each job he and his crew were assigned. His knowledge, craftsmanship, and good work ethic pushed him to pursue his dream of owning his own company. In 2004, just before the birth of his second child, AJ made the plunge and AJM Contracting was born! AJ, his wife Fran, and their three children, live in the South Hills of Pittsburgh.
